Voting Gets an A+

Here in North Carolina, there are going to be some HUGE elections this fall. However, before those can happen folks need to make sure they vote in today's primaries. If you're registered as a Democrat or Republican, you can vote in your party's, and if you are an independent or unaffiliated voter, you can vote in either.

If you haven't voted already, the North Carolina State Board of Elections has a nify site where you can look up your polling place and view your sample ballot to make sure there aren't any surprises!

The North Carolina Center for Voter Education also has a great, non-partisan Voter Guide with information about candidates in every race.

Like the sign says, your vote is your voice, so make sure yours is heard! Voter turnout is supposed to be low today, so your votes will be even more crucial. I was the first person at my polling place this morning nearly an hour after it had opened. Plus, you get to wear around the fun 'I Voted' sticker, which is the perfect accessory for any outfit.

And with that, get thee to your polling place!
